With 26 Grammy nominations and 5 wins, John Wooler is well known for his record production with many legendary and new breaking artists.
John brings his vast expertise in the area of A&R, as former Senior VP at Virgin Records America and formerly as President of Point Blank Records, the label he launched and ran for thirteen years. He is responsible for signing John Lee, Van Morrison, John Hammond, Pops Staples and Siedah among others. He currently serves on the advisory board and consults with various record companies including the EMI Music Group.

Nominated for 2003 Latin Grammy Award for producing the new album called Sublime Ilusion (Higher Octave World) by Cuban guitarist and Buena Vista Social Club member Eliades Ochoa (with guest musicians Ry Cooder, David Hidalgo, and Charlie Musselwhite).
He also produced the new release by Siedah on Om/Higher Octive featuring "Man In The Mirror" (written by Siedah & formerly performed by Michael Jackson). Currently John is in the studio producing guitar great Robben Ford's upcoming cd on Concord Jazz with Niko Bolas engineering. Also look for new releases from Wanda Jackson (with Elvis Costello and Dave Alvin) and Eraul Malo (Marverick's lead singer) both on CMH Records produced by John Wooler.
