We are delighted to feature a great video interview with hugely talented record producer KK while he took time out at RAK recording studios, London. He's a record producer, arranger, composer and much, much more. This video is in Quick Time format and needs version 7 or above. It is a broadband video so if you are on a slow connection please allow time for it to buffer.
With classic record-making skills learned first-hand from top producers and writers including: Rick Nowels (Madonna / Dido), Brian Eno (U2 / Bowie) Nellee Hooper (Gwen Stefani / Björk), Steven Street (Blur / Kaiser Chiefs), Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and Cathy Dennis (Kylie / Britney) - KK has learned an excellent set of tricks and experience to draw upon, and is now recognized as a world-class record producer in his own right, including extensive collaborations as a songwriter and/or producer with a wide variety of artists from Björk to Natalie Imbruglia.
Additionally, his work as an instrumental composer and arranger has included music for both major film (such as with James Newton Howard on the Tom Cruise hit movie 'Collateral') and television (including the new British Airways 'Clouds' and 'Google Earth' advert campaigns).
KK has also recently signed his side project with Sophie Barker (of Zero 7) - "Lullaby" - to Sony BMG.
Enough of the blurb, now watch KK's video. It's suitable for broadband users with Quick Time 7 or above.
Special thanks to KK for taking the time out to record this feature and to Trish at RAK Studios for making this possible!
