A super microphone, no ordinary microphone. It has to be heard to be believed. Very open, very detailed, very natural. It hears like your ears.

I have used this - in the B&K guise - for many sessions. The ones that Great Linford had are awesome. In that room I put one up for room and ended up using just that mic plus a bit of snare and kick mic though really just this omni is all you need but you had better know what you want in the first place if you go this route! Move it around a bit to get the kit sound you want and thats it.
On strings this microphone is ace too. Maybe this and a few Shure SM57 's and an 87 is all you need to do most recording.
I can't afford to buy one at the moment but its on my list.
