Description:

Very popular 80's and 90's split mixing console. Was an affordable and good sounding console found in many good mid-range studios.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
A lot of desk for the money
Cons:
thin top end, eq isnt that great, not a full sounding board
I used one of these for 3 years and it was very nice but its no ssl. Its not very good when driven hard and it lacks fullness and body. The eq is ok but you are best using the monitor eq. You can get nice sheen on the top end but its artificial though nice on BV's.

Not many plusses
Cons:
thin sounding, cheap build
A very average console that sounds thin and brittle. Consoles have moved on a lot since I was stuck on one of these for a year. EQ is very lacking, if you find yourself doing a session on one of these get some good mic pres and EQs or you'll be sorry.
