For small to medium size recording, mixing or mastering rooms, MB2-A would be appropriate, with the XBD added for additional low frequency SPL.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Serious, super wide range, perfect for mastering
Cons:
Bottom end may be not to your taste

Awesome monitors. I think these are almost the best of the best but IMHO more suited to mastering situations. The bottom end is a bit rubbery, hard to explain but other than some issues there it's a class act.
Only look at these if you have deep pockets and a decent room.

These monitors are phenomonal, they are super fantastic at being honest and ideal for mastering studio or high end room. I know someone who has these at home and wished that I could afford them myself.
Check them out for yourself. They are very good.
