We are delighted to feature hugely talented producer Lin Gardiner. She's a record producer, recording engineer, arranger, composer and much, much more.
Now based in Vancouver, Canada, Lin's recording career started as assistant engineer at the now sadly closed Jacobs Studios in England. As an aside, Jacobs Studios has spawned some of the most prolific mixers and producer's in the business so Lin was in a great company and a superb environment to learn in.
After serving her time working on all manner of bands that Jacobs attracted she moved to London working at a few small studios before ending up working with the highly regarded Mike Stock, of Stock Aitken and Waterman fame.
Working with Mike Stock helped Lin to learn the craft of production and she was introduced to a new World of crafting pop records. Drawing on her classical music upbringing Lin has a massive amount of skill and creative flair that can be equally well suited to a guitar band to an out and out pop smash.
Special thanks to Lin for taking the time out to come all the way to London to record the feature and to Richard and Nina at Strongroom Studios for making this possible!
For much more information and an up to date biog, skip over to Lin's very nice website.
