Antenna
Studios opened to the public as a recording and rehearsal
studio in April 2002 after six months major renovation
work to the building. Since then it has grown and grown...
What
had previousely been derelict timber-yard warehouse
has now been transformed into a close-net friendship
of purpose-designed studios with a gallery.

The
concept has been to attract people from all musical
directions and visual arts. Every member of the antenna
team is a musician, 'so when a days work is done we
have the lucky fortune to be able to jam with our colleages
as well as being able to offer our musical services
as session players' say's local musician Gavin Skellhorn.
 'Our label will be trying to make sure the sights, sounds
and objects on our production lines will be available
to see, hear and hold around the world.'
'We organize a fortnightly gig at The Windmill, Blenheim
Gardens, Brixton where we showcase bands who rehearse
or record here and also bands we particlarly like. Each
night has a different style to it according to the natural
flow of bands who come in and out of our studios.'
