brings his vast expertise in the area of A&R, as
former Senior VP at Virgin Records America and formerly
as President of Point Blank Records, the label he launched
and ran for thirteen years. He is responsible for signing
John Lee, Van Morrison, John Hammond, Pops Staples and
Siedah among others. He currently serves on the advisory
board and consults with various record companies including
the EMI Music Group. |

guitarist and Buena Vista Social Club member Eliades
Ochoa (with guest musicians Ry Cooder, David Hidalgo,

He
also produced the new release by Siedah on Om/Higher
Octive featuring "Man In The Mirror" (written
by Siedah & formerly performed by Michael Jackson).
Currently John is in the studio producing guitar great
Robben Ford's upcoming cd on Concord Jazz with Niko
Bolas engineering. Also look for new releases
from Wanda Jackson (with Elvis Costello and Dave Alvin)
and Eraul Malo (Marverick's lead singer) both on CMH
