Originally established in 1980, North London based Livingston Studios is the ideal recording and mixing environment for today's musician. Having a huge hit making pedigree Livingston Studios offers one of the best recording and mixing environments in London.
Both studios have large recording areas, comfortable control rooms and automated consoles complemented by an impressive array of outboard equipment and microphones, Analogue 2". Pro Tools and Radar II.
Livingston Studios has helpful professional staff, private car parking, pool table, kitchen facilities and each studio has a private lounge. We are due to record a new video tour and producer features at Livingston Studios but you can watch our archive video tour shot way back in 2000 here.

In Studio One, which is ideal for recording live bands, there is a large control room (26'x22') with lots of outboard equipment featuring a unique SSL 4056E/48 Channels, G Series Automation, Total Recall and special Black Knob EQ. There is ample space for even the largest midi setup with tie lines all around the control room and into the recording area. The recently refurbished recording area (45'x30') has a large 'Live' room, a large dead area, bright piano room and 2 separate booths. It also benefits from it's own private lounge with natural daylight, satellite TV/video and fridge. Other technical features include Eastlake TM3 monitors with Crown/H&H Amps and White EQ plus the standard NS10M's, Auratones and Ampex machines.
In the second studio there is a comfortable control room (18'x14') featuring an Amek Rembrandt with separate machine room. The recording area (40'x15') is split into three main areas, one large 'Live' area and two neutral rooms with a separate vocal booth. Again, it also has it's own private lounge with natural daylight, TV/video and fridge.
