All of the recording equipment reviews are unbiased as we don't directly take advertising from any manufacturer.  Any advertising on the site is placed by a third party or links to a general equipment shop which means that we are not influenced other than by our ears. 

In addition to equipment reviews we are starting to expand the studio gear and music shop at zZounds as they have had excellent feedback in the 5 years that we have dealt with them and they offer a full returns policy if you don't like what arrives.

Since the site started back in 1999 we have gradually narrowed down people and companies that we have confidence in putting forward. 

For new recording equipment we have found US on line retailer zZounds to give a very good service to producers and musicians and offers a genuine returns policy.  This is very important if say you buy some speakers and they just don't sound right in your room.  They also will price match any genuine offer, so they get a solid thumbs up from us.

For used sound recording equipment we mostly have experience with UK brokers so are interested in hearing about your experience with US based brokers though these brokers are international.  We've listed off the brokers that we trust here.
