Monnow Valley Studios (not Mono Valley Studios!) is one of the best residential recording studios in the UK. Based near to Monmouth the studio has a long history and was bought by the current owners in 2006. This feature is from before that time.

Monnow Valley Studios are tucked just inside Wales near to the historic market town of Monmouth. Taken over in 2002 it is undergoing transformation with new SSL console and extensive building.

The great vibe is complemented by the studios location, backing on to the river Monnow it is picturesque and has the feel of space and freedom from the pressures that can get in the way of concentrating on creative work.
The new owners include studio manager Paul Durrant who talks on our video about the investment that is being put in to improving the studio and accommodation areas. As you can see on our video tour of the studio, the whole package is perfect for bands. The huge live areas with unique iso doors that connect to the dead room gives a very flexible space to experiment and create a unique sound.
