Studio engineer Phil Bashford took us around the Hive Rooms mid COVID pandemic so had to wear a mask but we hope to re-visit and bring a bunch of new videos filmed at Hive Rooms soon!
The Hive Rooms, a rehearsal and recording facility in Horley, Surrey (near Gatwick airport) – built by musicians for musicians. The studios offers spacious, fully equipped rehearsal rooms (including gear by Blackstar, Ashdown, Pearl, DB Technologies and Allen & Heath), a large preproduction room (ideal for larger rehearsals, video shoots and the like) and a new recording studio which opened in September 2019. A second, larger recording studio will be completed and open for business in early-mid 2021.
Previous clients include Nik Kershaw, Cats In Space, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Freak Power, The Vapors and Skinny Lister to name a few, as well as a host of our regular local (and not so local!) bands.
There is an on-site shop, selling strings, leads, drum sticks and all the things you need for your rehearsals and gigs, now online! Please note, they are currently only operating on a Click & Collect basis.
