Loft Mastering is a professional independent mastering house and recording studio based in central Liverpool UK. Mike Cave, studio owner, aims to get the best from your music to create great sounding, optimised, balanced and coded CD masters ready for manufacture.
Mike's exacting standards and 15 years of mastering experience has helped grow the business so that he's now highly in demand. The studio is as the tin say's, in a loft, and has loads of light and relaxation facilities for people that attend a mastering session or who come to record. We really like the ambiance of the studio and there's no shortage of very nice gear available. We hope to record a video feature soon so please come back soon.

Mike's mastering facility draws on the considerable skills gained from his earlier career working at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool, where he worked in-house engineer. He went freelance in 2000 and has subsequently built a strong reputation thoughout the industry. His work has earned him a string of top ten albums/singles and numerous multi-platinum, gold & silver sales awards and his enthusiasm for his work and skillful judgement keeps producers, A&R and engineers coming back for more!
