Ravenscourt Studios are based just off the Goldhawk Road in London close to Metropolis Studios and Fluid Mastering so are well placed for the Tube or bus. The studio is situated next door to a rather nice pub with huge back garden means that when the English weather is nice you can take time out of sessions for a short break and dinner next door.
Sam Farr who owns and runs Ravenscourt Studios is a recording engineer himself and has served time with Trevor Horn at SARM Studios. Originally from Australia Sam together with another ex SARM engineer Edd Hartwell runs "London Studio Engineers", a website offering a 'mix or record at yours' service plus recording at major studios or overdubbing and mixing at Ravenscourt Studios to squeeze every last drop of juice from an artists meagre budget!
Having worked for over a decade in music production and live sound, Sam has a gained a reputation for delivering audio of the highest quality. Sam’s credits include artists as diverse as Robbie Williams, John Legend, Shakira, JLS, Jeff Beck and Nigel Kennedy. Sam opened Ravenscourt Studios in 2011 where the majority of his work now takes place. Sam has also worked as a sound designer and mixer on award winning tv ads for clients including Nike, Toyota, Cadbury and Nintendo.
Ravenscourt Studios comprises a sound and music production facility in Ravenscourt Park, offering a range of music production and audio post production services from song writing sessions, mixing and remixing, to tv and radio commercials, corporate videos, tv programs and documentaries.
There are also two studios available for long term let to producers, composers and song writers available as dry hire with or without recording equipment or engineer. All rooms are soundproofed, have booths or "dead" recording spaces, air-conditioning, wireless internet, 24 hour access, kitchen etc.
