Eleven times Grammy winning engineer Al Schmitt has had a fairy tale career spanning four decades. He has received Grammys for his work as an outstanding recording engineer with such talented musicians as Henry Mancini, Steely Dan, George Benson, Toto, Natalie Cole and Quincy Jones. Al Schmitt engineered and produced one of Sam Cooke's last recordings. Altogether, Al's talents have helped win artists over 160 gold and platinum albums.
Al Schmitt has worked as recording engineer and record producer with so many artists that it's impossible to list them all but you get the idea, Madonna, Anita Baker, Frank Sinatra, Diane Krall, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Luther Vandross etc etc!
